We share a commitment to our clients and the people they serve.

In 2005, Wayne Willis and Julie Hassett founded Hassett Willis & Company to help make the nation safer and more resilient. Since then, HWC has grown from four employees and a single contract to more than 100 employees working on a wide range of projects.

We use our expertise in preparedness, organizational development, data & design, and science & engineering to support missions in homeland security and defense, emergency management, and public health for federal, state, and local clients.

That tells you what we do, but it doesn’t tell you why we do it or who we are. We share a belief that good government changes the world for the better. Our clients work behind the scenes to save lives, and we share their dedication and missions.

We also share a commitment to building innovative solutions across disciplines. Our staff come from fields that span everything from management consulting to microbiology.

Above all else, we share three core values.

We dare to think differently. We combine proven tools and approaches in new ways to see and solve problems creatively and efficiently.
The world is complicated. We cultivate a supple, growth-oriented mindset in our people and projects to tackle tough problems with grace and agility.
We get things done. Our clients and the people they serve count on us to persevere and achieve results in the toughest circumstances.
